Champions Cup - Action packed weekend ahead.

This weekend’s Investec Champions Cup promises hard-hitting rugby action, with the Bulls and the Stormers at leading the South African charge, ready to face tough English opposition. On Saturday, the Stormers will lock horns with Sale Sharks, a team featuring three South Africans with the Du Preez brothers all plying their trade up North. The clash goes beyond tactics, as former teammates now find themselves on opposing sides, promising an emotionally charged encounter. The Stormers, known for their no-nonsense playstyle, aim to disrupt Sale Sharks' plans and make their mark on the European stage, whilst ensuring their undefeated home record in the competition remains in tact.

Simultaneously, the Bulls hit the road for a challenging fixture against Bristol Bears. Jake Whites side, renowned for their explosive attacks and forward dominance, go up against Bristol's solid defense. With both teams eyeing a crucial victory, expect a gritty, physical battle that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The all Springbok back three that the Bulls have to offer will be hoping for drier conditions underfoot as they seek to bamboozle as many defenders as possible.

Round 3 of the Champions Cup offers rugby enthusiasts a variety of matchups, from Northampton Saints taking on Bayonne to Ulster facing Toulouse and one in particular that I am looking forward to, La Rochelle v Leicester Tigers. The global flavor of the tournament is ever present, as teams from different rugby corners collide, promising a weekend of unpredictable moments and intense confrontations. Many of the match up's on display this weekend will be taking place for the first time in history, especially for the SA sides who are in only their second season.

As all of us eagerly await the action, the focus is on the Bulls and the Stormers, who continue to bring a lekker South African flavor to the tournament. It's not just about points on the board, and whilst that is the man goal, it's about showcasing rugby diversity and the competitive spirit that defines the sport. So, gear up for a weekend of hard-hitting rugby as the Bulls and the Stormers aim to make their presence felt in Round 3 of the Champions Cup.
