It is finally happening! The Springboks are taking on Wales at Loftus this weekend in the first game of the three test Incoming Series. A 43 man squad was named by Jacques Nienaber 3 weeks ago and the squad has slowly been gathering together. The majority of the side was assembled on Monday after the URC final, with only those involved in the French Top14 Final joining the squad yesterday.
There was been a lot of talk about who the best starting team will be and now we have some insight from the Bok coaches themselves who have named a strong and experienced side for the first test. In a bid to build some momentum and lay down a marker against the Welsh, it was important to stick with the tried and tested. Should the Boks get a comfortable win at the weekend, we will likely see the opportunities for the youngsters grow in abundance.
So without further debate, here is the side that will do battle at Loftus this weekend, kick off is at 17:05 and we hope to see you filling the stands. don't forget to join our Superbru pool either. Pool code: EDITSWAB
